  • Excel stored dates and times internally as numbers. As you are uploading an XLS it will see that column as a number. Try converting the order date to a text field (=TEXT(C2,"dd/mm/yyyy")) and then upload. It should then interpret it as a date

  • Hi Mohammed Ali ,

I opened the data in excel, formatted it to M/D/YYYY, and then notices a few columns showed excel formatting errors. I copied the column and pasted the text only back in which resolved the errors. I then saved it as a CSV common delimited.

    Try loading the data now.

  • Hi Mike,

I have downloaded the Sales Data which you gave and tried to load it again. But it is giving the same error. I tried to convert it as Date data type.

    Please guide me on this.

  • Hi Mohammed Ali

Try this file. I was able to go through the load process without changing anything outside of saving the file as a CSV comma delimited.
