Updating Remapping File: Change in schema

I am using snowflake-embrace (sync connection). There is an update in the snowflake tables ( new column added to a table).

I want to update the table in TS. However, in the Remapping file, there is an id column associated. what should be that key value for the new column name?

Please suggest/guide on this.

  • are you not able to login to ThoughtSpot and use TQL to create the new column before trying to do it via the embrace connection?

you will then get the ID by doing a script table command.

  • Marc Price  Is there any way i can update the schema/mapping using the web console?

  • Siddhi Doshi you could use the upload schema feature in the data tab. I've never done it myself, but I think you have an option to upload a ddl file or write TQL code.

  • Marc Price  Thank you. This was helpful!

  • Siddhi Doshi Glad to help

I just tested the write TQL feature to create a database etc and it works really well 👍
