Loaded big amount of data using JDBC, table INPROGRES

Hi

Started loading big table using JDBC. (12 mil of rows). Almost in the end process died with error

Table in admin has status INPROGRES

sage_master_tool IsBuilding = False

sage_master_tool GetStats = number_active_workers: 1
GetStats=serving_tables {
  guid: "0f5c80be-1802-4c04-9d1f-2d62ddb0d63d"
  table_name: "table_name"
  schema_version: 0
  data_version: 180 !!
  build_duration_ms: 77814
}

When i'm tying to query - see error

Could not generate naive plan for query: Table fact_booking_6_month is not ready for querying; region 0 is not available. Table Details: guid=0f5c80be-1802-4c04-9d1f-2d62ddb0d63d, schema version= 0, data version= 186 com.simba.support.exceptions.ErrorException: [ThoughtSpot][TSSimbaServer] (60350) Failed to execute query from request. Error: Could not generate naive plan for query: Table table_name is not ready for querying; region 0 is not available. Table Details: guid=0f5c80be-1802-4c04-9d1f-2d62ddb0d63d, schema version= 0, data version= 186

How to see whats is going now with that table? When it will be ready to query?

Error occurred during communication with the server.

And I see that table takes size on server 22.4M (this table has 20ml of rows)

  • You are probably aware of this now, but in cases like this I highly recommend opening up a ticket with support. This error report to me says that you may have a service or node failing... we would need to investigate with you to determine the exact reason.

    (I know this update is a bit late considering when the ticket was opened, just figured someone else may run in to this at a later time)

  • Thank for answer

    We are changed our ETL to tsload because its more verbose and stable. Which do not use intermediate jdbc simba server. Maybe next versions will try JDBC.
