Grad & Drop from table to X/Y axis

Hi,

I want to drag & drop fields from table to X or Y axis but not able to do it.

Can anyone please explain how it can be done.

  • Hi, I am not clear exactly what you are attempting. If you are in the table view you can switch to chart view. Once in chart view you can change the properties of the charts. The following is the link to v6 documentation. https://docs.thoughtspot.com/6.0/end-user/search/chart-axes-options.html

  • Sorry for typo.. but i am trying to drag & drop fields to either X/Y axis or in tooltip for displaying details.

  • Hi Punit,

    If I am understanding it correctly, you want to add new fields to the x/y axis of the chart. To add any new field to the axis, you would first need to add that field to the search query and it will automatically show up in any of the axis or not visualized section. You can then drag and drop to adjust fields between x- axis , y-axis and the legend. Let me know if this answer your question.

  • Aditya Abhinav Hi, That's exactly what i was trying to do & was interested in knowing whether we can simply drag & drop fields to X/Y axis to create a search but it seems this is not possible right now but vice versa is.
